PROSTIL is a single pack cementation compatible acrylic based polymer developed to protect mild steel or steel surfaces from corrosion. It also increases bond between old and new concrete. To protect the steel from corrosion it maintains highly alkaline condition around steels. Due to poor adhesion to steel and weak flexural and tensile properties only cement is not enough to protect from corrosion.
